Rattlesnake Ledge Hiking Trip

On Saturday, June 3, 2006, I took a daytrip to hike Rattlesnake Ledge Trail with some interns from Microsoft. The hike was really beautiful, though fairly steep... in the 1.6 miles from the trailhead to the Ledge, we climbed about 1160 feet. From the ledge to our stopping point near East Peak, we climbed another 1100 feet in 2.4 miles, making for a total ascent of 2260 feet and a roundtrip hike of 8 miles. Our group included Zach, Damien, Alex, Peter, Andrew, Mangesh, Joe, Ben and Jeff.
